The mission of the Fort Lauderdale Woman’s Club (FLWC) is to engage the women of Fort Lauderdale as volunteers who make a recognizable difference in addressing civic, educational, cultural and humanitarian needs in our community and beyond.
FLWC promotes charitable and educational activities through volunteerism. We award an educational scholarship annually, coordinate activities with fellow Woman’s Clubs and other local groups, support local, national, and international charities through money and/or goods. The Club is a [501(c)(3)] not for profit with Federal Tax ID number 59-0673290.
We have programs on health, civic issues, education, art, home life, and international affairs. We encourage leadership and participation of women of all ages.
We also enjoy having fun! We invite you to contact us about attending one of our monthly club meetings, which is held the 3rd Friday of every month except June and July from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at our historic clubhouse located at 20 South Andrews Avenue in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
